Stephanie has almost 20 years’ experience working in the Further Education sector having begun her career as a lecturer in Drama & Theatre studies at Amersham and Wycombe College in 2003. She went on to work in a variety of management roles within arts departments across several inner-city colleges in London. Stephanie joined HCA in 2012 after relocating from London. She joined as Curriculum Leader for PA & Music. She was Course Leader for Performing Arts and says ‘I absolutely loved my time teaching on the Performing Arts programmes at HCA. I worked with fantastic colleagues and students, and thrived on the energy in PA and Music’.
She returned after having her second son in 2020, and is now the Teaching, Learning and Quality Improvement Lead, working closely alongside the Head of FE. Her role is to provide strategic leadership in the development of inspiring, innovative and collaborative approaches in teaching, learning and quality improvement that results in students achieving the highest possible standards.
She lives in Garway Hill on a small-holding with ponies, goats, sheep, chickens, geese, ducks and a turkey called Eddie! She loves Herefordshire life and says ‘I feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful place, to call it home, and to be raising my family here.’
