Clair Hodgson studied jewellery design at Middlesex and the Royal College of Art.
She worked as a freelance designer maker for design consultancies before gaining a ‘Setting Up’ grant from the Crafts Council and moving from London to Wobage Farm Craft Workshops. Working in silver and gold to create wearable pieces, she collaborates with the seven other makers, in 3 annual exhibitions at the Wobage Makers Gallery, including h.Art.
Clair has exhibited and sold work in Europe, America, Japan and Kuwait.
Clair has worked at the college in a variety of teaching roles including Programme Manager for Art & Design, and more recently on the BA (Hons) Jewellery Design course.
