Overview

Join printmaker Mark Daffin (The Gilded Tower) for a hands-on lino printing masterclass inspired by the rich visual language of medieval art. You’ll explore motifs drawn from illuminated manuscripts, heraldry, and medieval folklore, transforming them into bold, contemporary lino prints.

Mark will guide you through the full process — from designing and carving your lino block to inking, printing and even gilding your finished pieces. Suitable for those with some printmaking experience or fast-learning beginners, this course offers a chance to experiment with striking imagery, learn new techniques, and produce a unique series of prints rooted in historic tradition.
