Whether you’re a complete beginner or just brushing up existing skills, this fully comprehensive drawing course will build confidence through enjoyable experiments and solid drawing exercises.

Overview

This course is designed to boost your drawing skills while helping you build a unique body of work. Each session hones in on a different technique, from line and tone to perspective and mark-making. You’ll explore a variety of methods, working with both traditional materials and more unconventional mediums, all while being encouraged to experiment and discover your personal style.

Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to gain confidence in drawing, this course covers everything from life drawing and portraits to more abstract approaches. We provide basic materials to get you started and will guide you on any additional supplies you may need as your skills and projects grow.

Looking over the shoulder of a woman in an orange jumper, you can see her drawing on a board at an easel. The drawing is a simple but accurate line drawing of a man sat in a chair.
A rough sketch of a person wearing glasses and a shirt. The sketch is fast and sketchy, but it is a well-drawn and accurate portrait.
A lady with white hair and bright red glasses is focussed on drawing on a board in front of her. In the background, you can see the model sat down.
A close up of a desk with papers on. The papers have drawing exercises on them including a study of a sphere and a study of a crumpled up ball of paper.

A lady with dark grey curly hair is stood at an easel drawing. She wears a patterned top, and is looking off camera, so you can't see her face.

The teaching is inspiring, encouraging and fun. It makes you think in ways we forget as adults. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to get into drawing.
