Sunny started his relationship with Hereford College of Arts as a student on the Foundation diploma in 1998. It was here that he discovered a love for silkscreen printing. This leading to his decision to study a BA Hons in Textile Design at Birmingham.

After successfully graduating Sunny went on to study for an MA in Printed Textiles at The Royal College of Art, graduating in 2003.

Since the completion of his art education Sunny has worked for a number of high profile national and international companies including Topshop, Topman, River Island and Levi’s. Sunny has also been the focus of an article in the respected design magazine Design Week.

Aside from teaching at Hereford Sunny has also contributed to the undergraduate programmes at both Swansea and Birmingham Institute of Art and Design.

As well as teaching, Sunny spends much of his time expanding his personal practice in his purpose built screen printing studio. If you can’t find him there the chances are he will be running through the Herefordshire countryside or looking for hidden treasures in second hand shops around the country. He’s also a pretty good cook.

Sunny is a lecturer on National Diploma in Art and Design.
