Tim joined the College in September 2003. Tim is a local lad who attended one of the local secondary schools and the sixth form college before reading a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Oxford. He then moved to London and qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant, while working for an IT company that built and installed banking software in the UK and Europe.

Tim took the position at Hereford College of Arts as an opportunity to relocate out of London and move into the different field of education. The role has a lot of variety (it doesn’t only cover finance), which is one of its plus points. Tim knows a lot more about Ofsted statistical data than he ever dreamt possible!!

One of Tim’s challenges has been to keep up to date with the apparently never ending changes to both further and higher education!

Tim lives in the foothills of the Black Mountains, with his wife and 3 children. He is the Treasurer for St. Margaret’s Parish Church, and is a Parish Councillor on the Vowchurch and District Group Parish Council.
