Delyth Done is an inspirational educator and leading international scholar with a commitment to developing dynamic pedagogy. Described as a force of nature, she has established a worldwide reputation for Hereford College of Arts’ Artist Blacksmithing course through an unstinting dedication to the development of creative craftspeople and scholarship in the field of forged metal. Curator of the Forged exhibition and #150mmchallenge , Director of blacksmithing festival Ferrous and a speaker at key international conferences and forged metal events, Done demonstrates her passion for the discipline, its makers and audiences, revealing the joy and accessibility of its materials, processes, and transformations.

Delyth has recently been awarded an MBE in King Charles’ first Birthday Honours List, in recognition of her services to Blacksmithing and Heritage Crafts.
