Lisa is a practicing textile artist, as well as having the privilege of teaching within Further and Higher Education. She has taught in this sector for over 20 years; delivering lectures, seminars, supervising and providing tutorial support for both written and practical research and creative art, design and craft projects. She has a MA in Post-Compulsory Education.

Lisa has always had a passion for underpinning creative practice with theory and this manifests itself in her own work, and also in her approach to teaching. Lisa is part of the exhibition planning and organising team, working with various arts institutions and museums.
