Working towards specialism

The Foundation Diploma and Portfolio Course students are currently trying to decide on their specialist area of study, this is not an easy process.  All of the students have chosen to work on 2/5 two week taster sessions, allowing them to refine their outcomes and work in more depth within an particular discipline. The Foundation Diploma and Portfolio Course students are currently trying to decide on their specialist area of study, this is not an easy process.  All of the students have chosen to work on 2/5 two week taster sessions, allowing them to refine their outcomes and work in more depth within an particular discipline.

The students are beginning to experience working within their own space in the studio, they are able to use the space as an extension of their sketch books or journals.

The students are exploring open-ended projects in a number of areas – Fine Art, Textiles, Design, Communication and Media.

Students work in the studio as well as accessing our specialist workshops to develop their ideas and extend their skills base.
