This week sees me getting ready for the second of our HE@HCA events. Here at HCA we offer both college level and university level courses, which means our students get the chance to carry on their education to degree level and even further with our new postgraduate programme!

To help students understand all the different options available to them after they finish their college courses we run HE@HCA which is a dedicated internal open day. There are tours of our College Road Campus, presentations from our HE course tutors, and a chance to meet with recent graduates to learn why they came to HCA and where they went after graduating. All of this is topped off with a slice of cake, a cup of tea while meeting with current students in their studio spaces finding out what it’s really like to study here.

It’s a brilliant, lively event and my desk is full of programmes and maps ready for tomorrow’s event. I’ve also managed to sneak in a little time on the laser cutter getting the last bits of our branding ready for our stand at the UCAS Design Your Future event taking place later this week. If you are coming to the UCAS fair remember to drop by and see us. We will be at London Olympia stand 72, 14th -15th November 2013, and Manchester Central Convention Complex stand 86, 26th -26th November 2013
