On Friday in the Textiles workshop the Foundation students learnt how to progress from stencil screen printing to working with the UV screen printing process.

The students were shown how to coat a screen then exposed their own image onto the screen which they then used to experiment with onto both fabric and paper with different colour pigments, layering, repeat and rotation.

It was a very experimental session for the students whilst they got used to the process. During the next process workshop later this week they will begin to refine their images into more screen prints.
As you can see in the pictures; it was a great introduction to UV screen printing for the Foundation students.
