NA&DSC Inspirational Trip to London

HCA’s National Art & Design Saturday Club group set off for London last Saturday, to see an exhibition of their self-portraits displayed at King’s College. Following a welcome by Lord & Lady Sorrell of The Sorrell Foundation, the club members watched the Lord Mayor’s procession with two of our members, Ru Florence and Hannah Wickham,

HCA’s National Art & Design Saturday Club group set off for London last Saturday, to see an exhibition of their self-portraits displayed at King’s College.
Following a welcome by Lord & Lady Sorrell of The Sorrell Foundation, the club members watched the Lord Mayor’s procession with two of our members, Ru Florence and Hannah Wickham, representing Hereford on the National Art & Design Saturday Club float.

The club members took part in a live workshop and displayed the work they produced on the outside of the float on kinetic display structures, which was fantastic.

What an amazing experience – culminating in a trip to the Tower of London to see the Poppies remembrance display!
