We are so, SO excited here on the Textile Design course here at Hereford College of Arts.

Eli the Course Leader had a meeting last week with the Learning & Development Manager at Superdry, yes THE Superdry, the international fashion giants at their HQ in Cheltenham.

The company pride themselves on forging positive links with young designers and helping them to develop their skills within the Fashion Textile industry. The company have an international brand which reaches millions across the globe and they are very proud that they are able to support local degree students with their studies.

Superdry

The details of the agreement are yet to be finalised but we shall be looking at working with Superdry on Live Briefs, enabling work placements and visits to the Design Studio’s at their HQ. All their designing is done in-house with a large team of highly qualified designers who travel the world every year researching and sourcing design ideas. For our students to have access to this amazing team of people is incredibly exciting and the link will open up possibilities for our students in their future careers.

Alongside the existing, long standing relationships we have with International Textile Design agents, Indesign  & Dash+Miller with whom we have annual success selling in New York, this is a real coup for us.

More information will be released in due course so keep coming back to check up on the HCA Blogs.
