Just when we thought the Autumn term couldn’t get any better along came the opportunity to launch one more addition to the Short Course Programme – Filmmaking with your Digital Camera

The aim of this course is to introduce you to the basic filmmaking functions of your DSLR camera.
DSLR’s have revolutionised the world of filmmaking, making that cinematic look more affordable and achievable than ever before.

Learn how to unlock the potential of your camera though a series of studio and outdoor sessions, covering manual settings, lenses, lighting and even basic post-production skills.

David Jones, the course tutor, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. David graduated from Hereford College of Arts in June 2010 with a first class degree in BA (Hons) Film & Screen Media as well as an FdA in Film & Video Production. He stepped immediately into the world of freelance filmmaking and has not looked back.

So for those of us who have loads of films that we keep meaning to download and perhaps add a bit of music to here’s the way to do it and we are delighted to be able to launch it ahead of Christmas – after all who can resist the odd bit of seasonal filming!
