From Bees, to Owls, to Bluebells, the recent BA (Hons) Jewellery Design Course project with local Hereford Business Henryka saw some of the students work displayed for sale in their Hereford shop. (Pictured above).

Henryka are keen Friends & Supporters of the College and have been working with the course for two years  providing the opportunity for students to design pieces to be sold through their retail business. Offering online and trade sales, in addition to their well established shop, they are committed to working with the College.

Many of their pieces are inspired by nature and they are proud supporters of The British Bee Keepers Association ‘Friends of the Honey Bee’, as well as local charity the Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs to children who have lost their hair through cancer.

Live projects with local and national businesses provide students with a real experience of working for a client and enable them to develop their business and employability skills in preparation for when they leave the College. HCA Business Services is always keen to hear from businesses who can offer a student brief or work placement so please get in touch with Wendy Tolley if you would like to discuss in more detail.
