“At this stage, I must comment how much I have enjoyed the masters thus far. The opportunity to explore and play to such an extent is one that is rarely given with such gusto and verve. It is this experience which has begun to really round me as a maker and crafts person, and one that has broadened my horizons in terms of materials and design.

The exploration of materials has transgressed from the casting of my own aggregates, to the adaption and use of pre-cast aggregates, cut and shaped from breeze blocks. This provides a wide range of variants, whilst also providing solid boundaries to work around, which I find really beneficial.

The aesthetic has been refined and developed, the review of form and shape has been on-going and most worthwhile. Resulting in what I consider to be a greatly improved work.

I look forward to the next step and am sure it will continue to be an enthralling adventure into my own craft.”
