Microsoft unveils iPad Office suite

Microsoft yesterday introduced Office for iPad. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote are now live in the App Store. All three apps will be free downloads and will include viewing and presenting capabilities free of charge. Users wishing to edit or create documents with the apps will need an Office 365 Home Premium subscription at £7.99/month

Microsoft new CEO, Satya Nadella said that the announcement was part of a strategy to empower people “to be productive across all devices” with Microsoft software.
