Responding to the demand of local businesses and those in the creative industries the College launched a series of one day workshops for the 2013-14 Short Course and Business Programme. Friday saw the second in a new series of Business workshops now being offered by the College. Responding to the demand of local businesses and those in the creative industries the College launched a series of one day workshops for the 2013-14 Short Course and Business Programme.

The first to be offered was an Introduction to Marketing, followed by Friday’s Marketing Strategy workshop, both were offered in conjunction with local company Minxmedia Ltd who specialise in Sales, Marketing & PR training.

A relaxed yet informative environment allowed those attending to explore and discuss the topics being covered, with everyone being encouraged to contribute, share ideas and ask questions, Lunch also proved popular, with an opportunity to chat and make new contacts.

The College is keen to develop its programme and is looking to cover more topics as the programme develops, including Getting Your Business Off The Ground. Feedback received is positive, the price is right, the location is great and the content is really useful!
