Sarah works on Reception at our College Road Campus, so it is more than likely that she will be one of the first people you see when you come in. Whether you need your print credit topped up or directions to the closest pub – Sarah will be on hand to help!
Our specialist workshops really set us apart from other institutions and our friendly and experienced workshop staff are undoubtedly the best of the best! Our workshops really are place for students to get creative and try new things, with the support of our technical demonstrators, we are certain you will be wowed with every visit.

In our IT departments, you will find a whole new range of exciting things! We spoke to our IT staff to find out what their top IT tips are for any new students and here is what they said..
“Get to know the tech dems! All of the technical demonstrators have a wealth of industry knowledge in Graphic Design, Film Making, Printing, VR, Animation and so much more. Pick their brains!”
“Check your email regularly, so you don’t miss out on anything exciting!”
“Save your work as you go along, it’ll save on tissues!”
“Make a note of your new email address – there are loads of exiting applications and services, we provide including our free Wi-Fi (eduroam) that require your email as username.”
“Remember to wear your lanyard with your College ID – you can use your College ID to book out a plethora of equipment, including headphones, graphics tablets, cameras, audio recorders and more…”
“If you need help don’t be afraid to ask at the Helpdesk, we don’t bite! Well most of us don’t..”

You will find The Creative Kitchen at both campuses, offering a variety of breakfast and lunch options, with a new menu issued weekly. The café is sure to meet our students needs and offers a mixture of vegan and non vegan dishes. Of course, you can also swing by if you just fancy a coffee too!
Keep an eye out for Ed, our Catering Manager who not only runs the Creative Kitchen across both campus’. Ed also owns a café bistro in Hereford City Centre, La Madeleine. Outside of work, Ed is keeping very busy in his new role as Dad to baby Harry!
In the library our staff are passionate about books and research and are more than happy to help you make the most of their resources. They love questions and can help you find what you’re after. They also make suggestions and connections between subjects and artists that might be new to you, so make sure you talk to them – you might be surprised by what you discover!

Days of the Bagnold Summer by Joff Winterhart. Jo, our library manager loves this graphic novel about the everyday story of a mother and teenage son.
Blind spot by Teju Cole. Martin, our Senior Library Assistant is intrigued by the combination of photography and text.
A first book of nature by Nicola Davies and Mark Hearld. Sophie, our Library Assistant is a keen illustrator and finds this endlessly inspiring
