HCA Business Launches A Free Networking Seminar

The College’s annual employers forum, attended by employers, organisations and College staff to share ideas and work together to ensure course curriculum develops alongside industry requirements, highlighted this year the need for students and young people to develop their skills in networking.

In response HCA Business Services has joined forces with the Chamber of Commerce to offer a free networking seminar which will take place on Tuesday 17th June, 4pm – 5pm at the Queen’s Building, College Road Campus.

Joanie Roberts,  Relationship Manager for Herefordshire Chamber of Commerce, will be delivering a seminar that provides useful information and tips on how to network successfully. Aimed at young business professionals across Herefordshire and those embarking on careers in the Creative Industries, this event is a must for those looking to develop their skills and confidence in networking.

Following the seminar, those attending are invited to join the College’s Summer Show networking event for employers, businesses, organisations, press and media. This event takes place immediately after the seminar on Tuesday 17th June at the College Road Campus from 5pm – 7pm and will provide the ideal opportunity to put into practice your new skills, supported by Joanie Roberts and the College’s Business Development Manager, Wendy Tolley.

Those more established in their careers, who do not wish to attend the seminar, are very welcome and encouraged to attend the networking event as it provides an ideal opportunity to view the work of our final year students and graduates, as well as network with each other and support those new to networking who will appreciate a friendly face and plenty of support!
