Christmas means one thing –  time for the annual Affordable Arts Fair at College! Running for a number of years now, this highly successful and much loved event provides our year 2 Extended Diploma Art & Design students and the Contact Course, with an opportunity to showcase their talents and test their entreprenurial skills.

The students are responsible for designing and making affordable and unique artworks and products to be sold at the Fair. With Christmas not far away the range of work on sale is perfect for Christmas presents and includes decorations, cards and some orignal gift ideas!

The Right Worshipful the Mayor of Hereford, Councillor Phil Edwards, and his Mayoress, Mrs. Bobbie Hadley, will officially open the Fair at the Private View on Monday 2nd December 2013 at 5.30pm. This event promises to be a delight for all as the Performing Arts and Music students will be lending their support singing Christmas songs and playing covers of a few festive favourites.

Each year the students select a charity to support which this year will be Labour Behind the Label and a donation from all sales goes to the charity.

The Fair, at the Folly Lane Campus, is open to the public from 3rd – 17th December, selling times are 12.45pm – 1.45pm Monday – Friday. Don’t worry if you can’t make it into College the Affordable Arts Fair is also at Hereford’s Christmas Craft Market, High Town Hereford on Saturday 14th December.
