Business Services loves engaging in entrepreneurial activities with students across both our further and higher education courses and so the opportunity to compete in, the Federation of Small Businesses Herefordshire Three Colleges Enterprise Scholarship, is always welcome!

The Scholarship looks to recognise and award students who are demonstrating entrepreneurial flair alongside their studies or those with a great idea who are looking for some practical advice and financial support to get started.

Students from Hereford College of Arts compete against students from our neighbouring Technology and Sixth Form Colleges, with one award of £200 being made each term. Each College can submit upto three applications for each scholarship award and the entries are then judged by a panel from the Herefordshire Federation of Small Businesses and a representative from each College.

Since it’s launch in 2012, there have been some truly inspiring entries and the panel are always impressed by the standard. Hereford College of Arts students have excelled and in the past two years we have had three winners, two of whom are pictured below.
