The opportunity to escape the office to explore something new is always welcome with HCABusiness, so an invite to visit a new coffee shop, down by the river, offering a space for courses and their students to exhibit was  a must!

De Koffie Pot opened it’s doors a few weeks ago, part of the new revived Left Bank complex and boasting a perfect spot down by the river, it delivers style and substance with a relaxed and warm welcome. As you walk through the door you instantly feel that this is the kind of place to catch up with friends or sit quietly reading the paper.

In addition, however, De Koffie Pot offers something a little different. Manager, Amy, explained how they were keen to offer their upstairs to students and local artists as a place to exhibit, keen to offer those visiting with more than just a quick coffee or bite to eat. Small groups looking for a place to meet are also welcome and Amy explained how they would be keen to see local groups such as knitting and book clubs using the space. In essence, they hope to offer a creative hub for people to enjoy and would love to hear from anyone who might be interested – so pop in!

The space upstairs is still a work in progress, with plans afoot but already functional and would be ideal for exhibitions and De Koffie Pot becomes a bar at night so ideal for private views.

Many may already have found this new addition to the City as it is the current home of acclaimed Burger Pop Up, the Beefy Boys, who we hear are soon to be hitting the Old Market Hereford Shopping Development with a more permanent home!

As we say in Herefordshire #neverboredintheford!
