We have received so many fantastic entries already for this year’s Brian Hatton Young Artist Competition – but for those of you who are still to enter, here is a little inspiration for this year’s theme….   The meaning of The Outdoors –  adverb 1. in or into the open air; outside a building or shelter.

The meaning of The Outdoors – 

adverb 1. in or into the open air; outside a building or shelter.
noun 1. any area outside buildings or shelter, typically that far away from human habitation

The theme of the Outdoors can be portrayed in many different ways – it is anything from your garden, to the park where you play with your friends. It could be the night sky, or a worm in a muddy puddle, your favorite outdoor sport, a tree house or special hiding place, flowers and insects, or the play ground at your school!
