Each Saturday morning at Hereford College of Arts we welcome a group of young smart and very very talented students for our Saturday Arts Clubs.
This week in conjunction with the launch of our Young Artist Competition (keep an eye out on our blog pages for more information that’s coming soon!) and its theme, our Arts for Starters group, for students aged 8 – 11, had an amusing time making their very own clay mini beasts!
The theme open to interpretation, meant we had everything being made from Unicorns to Elephants with Spider legs and wings.
The Arts For Starters Saturday Club is aimed at our younger students and designed to be a fun and informal introduction into the endless possibilities of art & design! Students are encouraged to try out new techniques and processes as well as developing a keen interest in the Arts.
