We are finally coming to the end of our Annual Henryka Competition, where the students on both BA (Hons) Contemporary Design Crafts and BA (Hons) Jewellery Design have the opportunity to design a range of silver and Amber pieces for the shop. The students have been given a selection of themes to work from this year, which largely feature around nature and birds.

This week, we were very fortunate to see some of the prototypes that will be making it into production! The designs were originally all displayed for the first round of selection, those designs that were then chosen to go onto the prototype stage were brought in to show some of the lucky students. Some of the winning designs were created by Grace Marshall, Annabel Roseveare and Georgina Norwood.

To formally introduce these winning designs into the shop, there will be a private view on the 8th of May at Henryka to launch the next stage of the competition. This will involve the students using their own social media campaigns to advertise their designs and push for sales to see which of the secelction wins overall best seller in January 2016.

If you would like to be part of this experience, keep checking the blog to see how the students get on and you are welcome to attend the private view to support our students on this exciting journey!
