Start the day with a coffee
We know some of you will have travelled quite far to be here, so with that in mind, your day will start in the creative cafe. This gives you a chance to meet and chat with other students and parents, along with getting a cup of the best coffee in Hereford.
Talk the talk
At 10.30, our student ambassadors will take you from the cafe, up to our main theatre, this will be where our Principal, Abigail Appleton, will give you an oversight of some of the values and an overview of HCA.
and walk the walk
This is your chance to see everything that makes HCA unique. The world class facilities, our beautiful, environmentally-conscious campus and some of the technical demonstrators who make sure you will understand how to use everything HCA has to offer.
Take a break
Lunch is on us. We want you to experience a real day in the life of an HCA student, so sit down and relax with hot drinks, sandwiches and have a chat with a few of our student ambassadors along with other students and parents. There is also the opportunity to speak to our finance team and the applications team who can help guide you though the application and UCAS process.
Meet your lecturers
HCA’s Course Leaders will come and collect you from lunch. They’ll show you specific facilities and individual course areas.
Then you’ll have plenty of time to sit down and really ask all the specific questions about the course. Our Course Leaders have a wealth of knowledge about not only their subjects but the industry as a whole. This one-on-one time is the best chance for you to decide if HCA is the right fit for you.
Accommodation + Hereford Tour
To finish off the day, our student ambassadors and outreach team will walk you down to our student housing. Built bespoke for us just last year, this now houses our students in a safe and social environment. With rooms to suit all budgets, and just a 10 minute walk from Campus.
And last up, Hereford, the city we all love. Check out some of the independent cafe’s, the gorgeous streets and get a feel for the wonderful historic city of Hereford that could be your new home.
