Our FREE digital taster is designed for those interested in our Creative Media Production and Technology Course. You will join our course team tutors to look at different areas of the Creative Media industry, getting hands on experience in these fun, interactive sessions. From camera work to 3D animation, games to graphics, you’ll create practical outcomes in just a few hours. These taster sessions are perfect for year 10 and 11 students who might be considering exploring our course in more detail but want to come and have a try first.

The 3 hour film challenge
Plan, shoot and edit a short film in just three hours with our filmmaking tutor Jake Gardiner.
In this session you will get to grips with professional filmmaking cameras and lights in our studio to shoot scenes for a short film. After this you will work with professional editing software to bring your story to life.
Games Makers
Work with tutor Nick Brown to create a ‘floor is lava’ 2D platform game complete with your own character and level design. Your game will be playable by friends and family after the event.
3D Creations
In this session led by our 3D specialist Jack Hodges you will explore basic shape and model making to make your own 3D creation in Blender.
Typography in Motion
Tutor Steve Waldron guides you through making professional motion graphics titles for your social media channels using Adobe After Effects.
