Tuesday night was awards night in the College as we welcomed many of the young photographers who had entered this year’s Young Photographer of the Year Competition to find out who had won. The competition, now in its 13th year, attracted many entries both locally and nationally, with the furthest entry coming from Essex!
In addition to the category winners, chosen by a panel which included one of our sponsors Hereford Cathedral School, a sponsors favourite award was to be presented on the night by the competitions partner sponsor Kidwells Law. So impressed were they by the standard of entries they decided on the night to award not one but three sponsor favourites.
The three favourites are shown here but can also be viewed alongside the category winners at the Young Photographer of the Year Exhibition currently on at the College as part of Hereford Photography Month 2013.
The winners will also be on display at the Flavours Food Festival the weekend of the 2nd & 3rd November, where the College will be joining local businesses at a fantastic event with some Creative Foodie Fun, definitely worth a visit as we will be engaging visitors in some great activities so come and meet the #HCAfoodies
