With only a few days to go before the launch of our annual summer show, the students and staff have been frantically applying the finishing touches to what promises to be a truly fantastic event!

Last week was a whirlwind of paint tins, cordless drills and spirit levels as our College Road campus was transformed into an incredible exhibition of our final year student’s work.

Whilst last year’s event was hugely successful and saw us welcome more than 5000 people over the course of a week, this year’s show looks to raise the bar higher still. The sheer variety of work on display is staggering- from twisted forged metal that captures the aesthetics of smoke to a photographic insight into the lives of a community of migrant fruit pickers in Herefordshire.

Beatrice Wall, whose collection of bugs takes its inspiration from 18th century museum pieces as well as African tribes, says:

“When I started the year it seemed so far away but suddenly it’s here! It’s quite nerve racking to have my work on display but it’s great to be part of such an eclectic exhibition”.
