Its the beginning of the Academic Year with new modules and projects for all year groups. The second year project has just begun with a trip to Snowshill Manor a National Trust property just an hours drive away from Hereford in the Cotswolds , there are over 22,000 objects in the Manor House collected by Charles Wade so there was something for everyone to be inspired by. Students were asked to identify a location and design something for Snowshill as well as designing in response to a object that inspired them .In two weeks time and they’ll need to present their two proposals with design sheets and drawings to other students and staff before deciding which one to focus on for the rest of the module .

Lots of the Artist Blacksmith students were inspired by a collection of Armada lock boxes in the house,I’m looking forward to seeing how their ideas progress … more blog posts to follow.
