It’s half term at the College but there’s a great buzz about the place as we prepare for our visit to the Flavours Food Festival this weekend (2nd & 3rd November).

We have had great fun in the office deciding what to do on our stand. Food and Art are proving to be a great combination and we have come up with some great activities, aimed at the kids but not just for the kids because we all love a bit of art at heart!

So, proving that business services is not always suits, meetings and networking I offered to do the prep work, seen here with the roller, staged for camera (note no paint!) but I can confirm it did get messy!

If you’re wondering just what I am painting, it might just be worth popping along to our stand to see the finished work, which will be by a member of our Extended Diploma Art & Design team, Dermot Clarke. It’s going to be a great photo opportunity and a bit of a giggle!

That’s not all that’s happening though, there’s going to a big draw, some foodie stamp art and a great photo comp.

So see you there! Come meet the #HCAfoodies we are looking forward to meeting you!
