First Years at the Forge

We are full ! we can only take 18 students per year, and we have 18 new first years in our BA(Hons) Artist Blacksmithing Course with students from England , Wales and Ireland and the USA. Here they are in the forge for the first time having a tool making demonstration by Dave Field, it was great

We are full ! we can only take 18 students per year, and we have 18 new first years in our BA(Hons) Artist Blacksmithing Course with students from England , Wales and Ireland and the USA. Here they are in the forge for the first time having a tool making demonstration by Dave Field, it was great seeing how excited they all were and I couldn’t help but notice how new and shiny their hammers looked … but not for long !
