First Day at the Forge

For the first few weeks of the academic year our first year students are based at our College Road campus.  Their time has been filled with introductions into our workshops at College Road and Folly Lane, IT inductions, library inductions, health and safety inductions, drawing workshops, mark making workshops and much, much more.

But today was the first day at the forge!

Our students come from a mixed demographic; some from an art school background whilst others come from a Blacksmithing or engineering background, so the morning started with a real mixture excitement, trepidation, fear and enthusiasm!
