The year has got off to a cracking start in the Textiles workshop; new students working with new processes. There are some really exciting samples being produced by the ED1 students all of which are from the Heat Transfer demonstrations. The ED1 students have been working on a mark making project using different mediums and materials

There are some really exciting samples being produced by the ED1 students all of which are from the Heat Transfer demonstrations.
The ED1 students have been working on a mark making project using different mediums and materials to create textures and patterns. These have then been developed into experimental satin and silk samples by transferring ‘Disperse Dye’ from paper to fabric using the heat press.
