What a great morning we had!
Burghill Community Academy brought a lovely group of students over to have a look at the current ED Art & Design work in progress exhibition where there are some fantastic giant fashion illustrations and documentary photography on display at our Folly Lane campus.
We had an excellent morning looking around the exhibition, talking about the work then drawing on a giant roll of paper their favorite pieces or their own little creations inspired by the exhibition.
We were very impressed by their work and the details and patterns they managed to pick out of the giant illustrations and incorporate in their own drawings.
After being inspired by their big draw they went out again to look at the exhibition in more detail by photographing their favorite pieces and really zooming in on certain parts of the work so they could go back to school and put them on a big screen and guess which piece of art that the image was taken from.
