Timothy Bartlett was the chosen BA Photography student to be given the opportunity to create the first ever photographic formal portrait of the Bishop of Hereford.

Tim Bartlett was the chosen 3rd year student to be given the opportunity (and challenge) to create the first ever Photographic formal portrait of the Bishop of Hereford the Right Reverend Richard Frith.

Every Bishop has one formal portrait commissioned which will be on display at the Bishop’s Palace in Hereford for decades if not centuries. The honour of creating the first Photographic portrait ever went to Timothy Bartlett after a competitive pitch among several students.

The formal unveiling of the new Portrait took place in the cathedral on Sunday followed by a reception at the Bishop’s Palace.

Well done to Timothy for a great result and a happy client.
