Having completed the undergraduate degree in Artist Blacksmithing, James is now a student on our MA in Contemporary Crafts. Continuing to work with the figure, this new body of work explores how to capture a range of human emotions in forged metal. He is currently focussed on fear. Having made maquettes in acrylic and aluminium, he is now developing this new body of work at the forge and the good news is that in the last few weeks he has sold three pieces from his undergraduate degree show and has currently been approached to feature in a magazine editorial. Exciting times!

James is due to graduate in November 2015 as part of our first cohort of MA students.
