Constellation graphic expanded

Find out more about the 2026 MA Show (Fine Art) and explore the artists exhibiting work this year.

About the exhibition

Constellation brings together new work by artists completing the MA Fine Art programme at Hereford College of Arts.

Set within the historic Museum of Cider in the heart of Hereford, the show invites audiences to discover new work from the city’s community of contemporary artists.

Featuring sculpture, textiles, painting, video, performance and installation, the exhibition reflects the breadth of approaches explored by the artists during their postgraduate study. Across a diverse collection of work, the exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to encounter emerging ideas, individual perspectives and ambitious contemporary creative practice.

Beth Lockett interview

I have just always wanted to spend some time developing as an artist and seeing where it will take me. Most of what I've done is painting - which I usually start by doing outside - but I have got a little bit of sculpture, and some prints.

The work brought together in Constellation reflects the ambition, generosity and individuality of this year’s MA Fine Art artists. The exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate that journey and to share an exciting, thoughtful and diverse body of contemporary work with the public.

Presenting 'Constellation' at the Museum of Cider creates an exciting dialogue between contemporary art and a building rooted in Hereford’s cultural and industrial history. The character and significance of the venue provide a rich context for the artists’ work, while connecting the exhibition closely to the city and its communities.
