Join us for the culminating exhibition of six exceptional postgraduate practitioners from our MA in Contemporary Crafts, each presenting a distinctive body of work realised at professional standard. 

Exploring material, process and concept this show demonstrates the rigour of their practice, the refinement of craft and the sophistication of design thinking. This showcase offers a compelling window into disciplines where making, meaning and material converge - from bespoke objects to nuanced interventions in the field of contemporary craft. We invite you to view, engage and be inspired by six talented designer-makers whose work signals a confident next step in their professional careers.

The exhibition is located on the ground floor and is fully wheelchair accessible. If you have any specific questions around accessibility, you can contact the course leader Del Done ahead of your visit by emailing d.done@hca.ac.uk

This is a professional-level showcase of postgraduate talent. This year's show features six students:

Yes, attendance is free and open to the public. 

Yes — there will be a private view (invitation only) with the students present. Public access then opens the following day and continues for the full ten-day run.

There will be a artist Q&A held on the final Saturday, however with the exhibiting student also invigilating the show, there will also be the opportunity for more informal talks.

There is also an Open Event for the course on XXXX. This will include a campus tour, as well as a tour of the show led by XXX.

Yes - in many MA shows pieces are available for purchase or commission. Visitors are encouraged to enquire with the event host on-site about any items marked “for sale”.

This year’s exhibition is a powerful testament to the imagination, skill and resilience of our MA students. Each maker has pushed their material practice to new levels — producing work that is both beautifully resolved and conceptually rich. We’re incredibly proud to see them present at such a professional standard.

Develop and extend your creative practice with this project-led course. Artistic expression is supported through tutorials, seminars and access to a wide range of craft workshops. We have developed an exciting blueprint for the course which brings together craft practice, theory and professional practice.
