Lisa Bird

Constellation graphic expanded

Exhibiting as part of the 2026 MA Show - 'Constellation'

About this work:

My practice explores the myths and structures that silence, and what it is to live with conflicting truths that the body remembers, but explanation alone cannot reveal.

Through moving image and socially engaged art practice, I create spaces that honour complexity, enabling it to emerge without seeking resolution.

Working through listening, collaboration and care, I am interested in the ethical conditions that allow voices to be heard. The artworks question not how experiences can be represented, but how they can be witnessed rather than reduced.
