Buckholt Bryngaer and Hereford College of Arts have partnered to create a series of new artworks for Buckholt wood. Four of our students are exhibiting work alongside established Fine Artist Michael Lawrence. The five sculptures are positioned across the beautiful landscapes of Buckholt wood.

BA(Hons) Artist Blacksmithing students deliver impactful Tools for Schools: Chasing nature workshop

The Chasing Nature project introduces children to metal chasing techniques, allowing them to create votive plaques that celebrate the beauty of the natural world. Students guide the pupils through the process of preparing designs, which are then transferred to small metal plates. The children emboss their designs onto the metal.

Championing research and critical thinking skills, she is dedicated to helping students articulate their practice with confidence and clarity.

Richard’s background is in 3D Design. He studied at West Surrey College of Art and became a successful commercial designer working across the UK.  He has a long-standing fascination for the machine aesthetic in Architecture, Design and Engineering.
