To celebrate 40 years of Herefordshire Mind , our Extended Diploma Art and Design Visual Communications students were tasked with creating new signage designs for the front of Heffernan House, Hereford Mind Headquarters. David Harding of Herefordshire Mind visited the students to outline the requirements of the project, as well as to talk them through the ideals and core values of Mind; Hope, Positivity, Recovery, Support. The students then created artwork in response to these themes.  Zakk Kaye’s design was praised for his idea around the growth mindset and selected by Herefordshire Mind staff for the new signage.

It will be appearing outside Herefordshire Mind Headquarters soon!

Some of the designs created by our students are currently on display at the ‘Mind At 40’ exhibition at St. Peter’s square Church, in Hereford. The exhibition is open until Tuesday 27 November.
