About the role

Governors play a vital role in shaping the future of Hereford College of Arts. Working alongside fellow Board members, they provide strategic oversight and constructive challenge, helping to ensure the College is well governed, financially sustainable and focused on delivering outstanding opportunities for students.

We're currently seeking individuals with expertise in finance and audit, legal and governance, and digital and technology. No previous governance experience is required. Training and support will be provided.

Training and development

All Governors receive a comprehensive induction programme, ongoing training and support to help them carry out their responsibilities effectively and with confidence. New Governors are also paired with an experienced mentor to support them during their first year.
