Katerina is a textile artist specialising in one-of-a-kind handmade textile artefacts, that reimagine traditional techniques of hand embroidery, needle lace and natural dye. Inviting dialogues of healing and spirituality to be shared through slow textile making.
Katerina initially trained at The Glasgow School of Art. After then working in luxury fashion, Katerina returned to her studies completing a Masters in Textiles at the Royal College of Art London as a Burberry Design Scholar.
Katerina is a published writer, contributing to publications such as; Embroidery Magazine and Selvedge Magazine, where she works as an Editorial Assistant. Katerina is also a lecturer on BA Textiles at Hereford College of Art.
