I have always been drawn to working in textiles, more recently I have been experimenting with sculptures in painted fabric, using the material as a 3D canvas to express my ideas.
These images are from my most recent project looking at the fears that have been created by the global pandemic we are currently enduring. Using painting, mythology and ritual to create a hopeful response.
I have been taking inspiration from the work Mathew Coates and Meryl McMaster who have focused on the positive effect of shamanism in supporting communities through crisis.
