I made this documentary/advert as part of my module. We each were working with a client who gave us a brief summary of what they were looking for and we had to pitch our ideas.
When I was contemplating Fodder Basics and the ethics behind the store I kept thinking about the ocean and about my memories and Associations with it. This let me to asking family and friends about what comes to their mind when they think of the ocean. No one ever said Plastic, which was a bit of a surprising discovery given the extreme plastic pollution. My goal was to make people think about their association with the ocean and shock them about the extent and effects.
