2025 Degree Show season: The Diploma Shows

Degree Show branding

Join us for an incredible showcase of talent spanning two campuses and the full spectrum of art, design and digital media.

The 2025 Diploma Show

The HCA Diploma Shows are a huge showcase of student work, featuring hundreds of young artists from across both our Post-16 Diplomas and post-18 Foundation Diploma courses.

Staged and staffed by students, the exhibitions are a public platform for students to present their final projects.

Work from the one-year Foundation diploma in Art and Design is located at our degree campus on College Road, while work from our Post-16 courses is shown at our Folly Lane campus. You can visit both shows in a single visit, with the campuses situated around a ten-minute walk from one another.

The 2025 exhibition will feature work from:

  • Level 2 Diploma - Art and Design
  • Level 3 Diploma - Creative Practice: Art, Design and Communication
  • Level 3 Extended Diploma: Art, Design and Communication
  • Level 3 Foundation Diploma: Art and Design

What you can see at the show

Final projects are  self-determined by students, following independent research and development. Each show reflects the individual interests of each group of students, however you can expect to see:

  • Painting, fine art installation and visual arts
  • Playable gaming demos
  • Textile pieces and conceptual fashion design
  • Graphic design, illustration and zine making
  • Ceramics, jewellery design, 3D craft and making
  • Video production, photography and short film
