Portfolio and Audition Advice
We provide advice and guidance on applying for our Further Education and Higher Education courses, either at your school or in a visit to Hereford College of Arts.
Portfolio advice
If your students are applying to our Level 2 or 3 Art and Design course, or a creative degree they can receive advice about how to create a portfolio from one of our tutors.
- Years 10, 11, 12 & 13.
- In your school or at our campus.
- 20 minutes to 1 hour.
- Achieves Gatsby benchmark 4 and 5.
Performing Arts/ Music Audition Clinics
If you’re interested in applying for Level 2 and Level 3 Performing Arts courses, this is the perfect opportunity to get an idea of what the audition and interview process at HCA will be like. You will find out what to expect, what we are looking for in a candidate, get some tips and hints that will help you have a positive audition experience.
In preparation, it would be helpful to bring the speech, dance piece or song you are interested in presenting at audition. You can attend more than one audition clinic if you like.
