I particularly enjoy weaving and print design although my work takes a mixed media approach to textile development; I enjoy trying new processes in the workshop that I can then use and combine with other skills, to create visually interesting outcomes.

I love to explore colour, texture, layers, pattern and scale within my work. I’m always inspired by my surroundings and what’s on trend in the textile industry. I particularly like taking inspiration from the natural world.

After graduating I hope to secure work placements within weave and print design studios to gain extra knowledge, skills and experience.  My long-term goal is to have my own textiles studio, making and selling interior products and fashion accessories, and I would like the opportunity to collaborate with other designers who work in ways different to my own.
